End of August

How can something as cool as Astronomy become mundane and annoying? Take a college course about it. I guess I can't complain too much though, I mean, I did get out of a three hour lab in under an hour, so it can't be all bad.

So I had an interesting thought today. Wouldn't it be cool to look up the yearly sales for Orwell's 1984 and see if they went up, down or stayed the same in 1984. Of course, I could probably perform that search right now on Google or something, but I don't realy feel like it.

I highly recommend dart guns. I think that everyone hsould have a dart gun. No seriously, you might think that they are simply children's toys, but I stand as testament to the fact that dart guns possess an impressive array of useful abilities. Really, go to wal-mart right now and buy one, or even two. They cost less than a dollar!

One the opposite end of the spectrum, you have to fork over nearly two hundred dollars for three college text books. Don't ever buy college text books, unless you have to, which you probably will.

So that's a wrap 'cause I don't wanna come up with more stuff to write.

So "whoo" and everything.

Ok, so although I usually forswear blogs and their ilk as heretical and treasonous, I've decided, out of boredom of course, to start one of my own. Fortunately, I don't have too much to worry about, as although this single post might possibly one day become penultimate, it is most likely fated to remain that way.

All disclaimery aside, how annoying is it to type something when a simple press of the "Tab" button won't accomplish something as simple as indentation? On the other hand, how annoying are classes that last an hour and a half? I think that the fifty minute barrier is a delicate and vital thing that requires careful consideration before it is broken. Of course, the scheduliers at the good ol' A-to-the-P-to-the-S-U apparently disagree with my sentiments on this matter, and who's surprised? If you're going to have a class that ignores social and academic niceties as far as duration is concerned, then said class should have some specific need to be this long. A good example would be an art class, or something that requires more than simple lecturing. To summarize, lectures should not last ninety minutes. To summarize even further, my last class was boring.

So yes, I have lots of good things going on, but what are blogs for if not for complaining publicly? I don't know. Maybe I should be more positive. I'm finally back on campus, and despite APSU's many flaws I would rather be here than back where I came from.

So I guess I have some recommendations for anyone reading this stuff.
